From research to exploration to launch.
FleetPulse
Responsible for the connected trailer platform experience: app, dashboard and insights. Worked closely with engineering, software development, manufacturing, marketing and sales. Defined user needs and identified value propositions for different user types: maintenance, logistics, operations and manufacturing.
Responsible for the overall experience for the app, dashboard, and product design. Developed and maintained the strategic product roadmap, including both physical and digital solutions. Defined and managed the solutions for each stakeholder: end users, facility managers, and Herman Miller’s installation, sales, and development teams.
Herman Miller Live Platform
While exploring and developing internet connected experiences at Herman Miller within the built environment, I was issued three separate patents in that space.
Three US Patents
As part of the Live OS ecosystem, the Aeron Chair was the first seating product to connect into the Live Platform. I lead the ideation process to determine value and balance that with the sensor type and application. I drove the exploration project to commercialization.
Smart Aeron
As a researcher on the project team, I helped conduct interviews with various stakeholders to understand the problems nurses and designers were experiencing in the patient room. Synthesized the feedback to drive the solution’s concept and features during development into launch.
Herman Miller Compass System
As an innovation strategist at Corewell Health, I lead the exploration to understand the value of computer vision and two teams to develop two prototypes. The prototypes focused on increasing hand hygiene within the hospital setting and reducing fall risk within the home.

Sayl Enhancements
Provided design leadership for Sayl chair improvements. Those included the knit back cover and buttons to adjust height of the arms.
