Where does my coffee go? The design of the dashboard will get extremely simplified, removing the controls and hole for the radio. In 1971, it made sense to have a radio and wired speakers. Today, everything is in our phones, which gives you the freedom to hide and remove the entertainment functions. With that change in the dashboard, the center console will hold two beverages as well as a bluetooth speaker. The sides will be wrapped in leather, the center is a custom laser cut aluminum part. Towards the firewall there is a cavity to securely store a bluetooth speaker and will have a fabric cover on top. Next step is getting the sides laser cut in birch plywood to create the final form for the upholsterer.
