Sound Deadening

Where’s that rattle coming from? After upgrading the engine and doubling the horsepower, there’s been a few more vibration and noises throughout the car. Prior to bringing my car to the trim shop, we stripped the interior out and used a pneumatic air chisel to remove all the original sound deadening material. Next we started cutting and installing DEI Boom Mat throughout the entire floor, from the firewall to the rear hatch.
